NOTE

 Cars in each class are checked before racing begins and may be moved to the appropriate class without notice. No lubrication of any kind will be allowed. All cars must be 1/64 scale.

2025 Classes

Kids

Anyone 15 years old or younger can enter. Kids are NOT limited to this class. These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars. 


Kids will graduate from the Kids Class when

  • The child can win multiple times in this class till the age of 12 or has completed the 6th grade, then they will graduate out of the Kids Class at the end of the racing year.
  • If the child has never won in the Kids Class by age 12 or 6th grade, up till the age of 15 once they win a race, they will graduate out of the Kids Class at the end of that racing year. 
  • If the child has never won in the Kid’s Class by the age of 15, they will graduate out of the Kids Class at the end of the racing year.


Cars not allowed in this class: Fast & Furious, Rescue Ranger, Cadillac V16's, Heavy Metal Cars, Star Wars (i.e. Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter), Tiger Wheels, Sidekicks, 2009 Ford F150s, 2010 Mustang GT, Crescendo, Smith Electric Trucks (Land Rover MKII), Cadillac V16's, NASCAR Cars,Side Kick and Customized cars.  

Rip 'N Zip

You must bring an unopened car with your race # on the package. Vehicles will be opened prior to the race. There is a limit of two cars per racer each month. All cars must be from 2022 to current releases from any brand, unless specified below. The year must be displayed on the package, if you have questions please see a race official. No points will be awarded, but a monthly medal will be given to the winner of the monthly Rip ‘N Zip class. 


February:  Mystery Month: Cars run in this class will be the current release mystery cars. These cars will not be brought in. Orange Track Racing will have a box of these cars for everyone racing in the class for February. There will be no charge for the cars outside of the normal registration. 

March: Convertibles

April: First Responder

May: Character Cars

June: Food trucks and/or food themed

July: 

August: 

September: 

October: 

November:

March – November: The Rip ‘N Zip class for the remainder of the year will be voted on 1 month prior (example: March will be voted on by those at the races in February). A ballot will be available each month. Only one ballot per person each month. There will be 4 options to vote for each month. Options are not limited to this list:

  • American Cars: Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford. No restrictions on the year the car was produced. 
  • American Muscle Cars/Hot Rods: No restrictions on the year the car was produced.
  • Cars with spoilers
  • Character cars*: Any vehicle that is based and designed as a character.
  • Colored Cars: Cars of one color.
  • Convertibles*
  • Creature Cars: Any vehicle that is based and designed on an animal is eligible. 
  • Exposed engines
  • Fantasy Cars: cars not based on actual cars, trucks, etc.
  • First Responder*: Fire, police, ambulance, etc.
  • Food trucks and/or food themed*: Food trucks and cars that look like ready to eat foods (cupcake, donut, slice of cake, hot dog, sushi, taco, etc.)
  • Foreign Cars*: Any car that is not an American company (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Lincoln, Ram, and Tesla). No restrictions on the year the car was produced. 
  • Hot Wheels/Colored Wheels: The tires (wheels), not the rims, must be different than the standard black wheels. 
  • Matchbox Cars/Trucks
  • Noah's Ark-Two by Two*: You must enter two of the same car. It is encouraged that each car has a different paint job, but not required.
  • Slow Poke: The last car to finish and cross the finish line, wins
  • Trucks*

Slowpokes

Anyone can enter this class. Any vehicle is eligible in this class. The idea behind the class is the last car to finish the race goes on to race again. Whereas, the first three finishers do not. Vehicles that do not cross the finish line are out.  

Feather Weight Pro Class

Anyone can enter this class. To be eligible for this class, you must have a vehicle that has either a plastic base or body (or both). These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars.


Cars not allowed in this class: Fast & Furious, Rescue Ranger, Cadillac V16's, Heavy Metal Cars, Star Wars (i.e. Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter), Tiger Wheels, Sidekicks, 2009 Ford F150s, Smith Electric Trucks (Land Rover MKII), Cadillac V16's, NASCAR Cars,Side Kick, 2010 Mustang GT, Crescendo, and Customized cars.   

Feather Weight Rip 'N Zip Class

Anyone can enter this class. To be eligible for this class, you must have a vehicle that has either a plastic base or body (or both). These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars. All cars entered in this class must be unopened car with your race # on the package. Vehicles will be opened prior to the race. You can race as many of your registered cars in this class as you would like. Unlike the regular Rip 'N Zip Class, there is no restriction on when the car was made.


Cars not allowed in this class: Fast & Furious, Rescue Ranger, Cadillac V16's, Heavy Metal Cars, Star Wars (i.e. Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter), Tiger Wheels, Sidekicks, 2009 Ford F150s, Smith Electric Trucks (Land Rover MKII), Cadillac V16's, NASCAR Cars,Side Kick, 2010 Mustang GT, Crescendo, and Customized cars.   

American Muscle Car/Hot Rod Pro Class

Anyone can enter this class. Cars in this class are American made street muscle cars or rat rods based on production cars. No restrictions on the year the car was produced. If any questions arise during pre-race setup as to whether it is eligible for the class, please see a race official. These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars.

Anyone can enter this class. Cars in this class are American made street muscle cars or rat rods based on production cars. No restrictions on the year the car was produced. If any questions arise during pre-race setup as to whether it is eligible for the class, please see a race official. These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars. All cars entered in this class must be unopened car with your race # on the package. Vehicles will be opened prior to the race. Trucks Pro Class

Anyone can enter this class. Included in this class are pickups, anything with a truck bed, trucks, El Caminos, Rancheros, school bus, ambulances, fire trucks, semis, and vans. Johnny Lightning trucks, semis (cab only) are allowed. If any questions arise during pre-race setup as to whether it is eligible for the class, please see a race official. These vehicles are strictly non-modified cars.


Cars not allowed in the trucks class: Trains, Star Wars (i.e. Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter), and Customized cars. 

Outlaw Pro Class

Anyone can enter this class. The only restriction is that you cannot enter customized cars. This will include cars not allowed in the other classes (but not limited to):  Fast & Furious, Cadillac V16's, Heavy Metal Cars, Star Wars (i.e. Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter), Tiger Wheels, 2009 Ford F150s, Smith Electric Trucks (Land Rover MKII), Sidekicks, 2010 Mustang GT, Crescendo, and NASCAR Cars.
